I served in the United States Coast Guard , active and reserve for 12 years. While serving, I attended USCG Maritime law enforcement academy, and served as a boarding officer and instructor.
In 1996 I left active duty and attended the State of Delaware Corrections academy. In 1998 I applied and was selected to attend the Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT) academy.
In September 2001 I was re-activated in the USCG due to 9-11. In November of that same year I was hired as a federal law enforcement officer for the Department of Homeland security (DHS) and attended the academy in March 2002. I'm currently still employed by DHS and have attended the Federal Firearms Training Program.
My skill set meets and exceeds the NRA's range masters qualifications.
I hold myself to a high standard and continue to train to better my skill set to provide the best learning environment for all participants.
